Project 365 – Day 1

Project 365 – Day 1

I have 3 beautiful boys.  I don’t take as many pictures as I should.  I love the photo albums that my mom made for me as I was growing up.  I think about them quite often, and I usually end up feeling guilty about it.  Not only do I not take the pictures I should, but I also don’t organize them after I take them.  Some day my kids are going to want pictures of their childhoods.  I want to have something to give them.

My sister-in-law has been doing Project 365 for the past three years.  The idea is to take one picture a day for a year to document the little things that make someone’s life unique and special.  After looking at her pictures each day and seeing a few of my Facebook friends joining in, I thought it might be a way for us to take more pictures and organize them in a way our boys will appreciate as they grow.

Day 1

Pajamas and Legos

I won’t be posting all our pictures here, but if you’re interested in keeping up with our Project 365 progress, you can check them out on HERE Flickr.

  1. Love this! I just posted our first picture on my family blog this evening. Didn’t realize you were doing it too. 🙂

    Happy New Year!

PS: If you don’t have that link and want it send me a note and I’ll pass it on. It’s not published.

  2. I’d love the link to that blog. I didn’t really decide to do it until today, and then I just decided to jump in! I was holding out because we are just point and shoot people, and I would love to be able to take better pictures. I decided to do it though because I figure if I have to start at some point. 🙂

  3. You are brave with the legos! We haven’t left duplos yet because I fear for my feet.

  4. We just got our first real Legos in November. So far they haven’t been too bad, but the carpet we have in there is very short and flat. It’s easy to see and avoid them. I haven’t stepped on any yet, but I’m sure it’s coming.
